Then, we search for and share listings that match your wish list and show you those of interest. Buying a home is a process. Our marketing materials are created with the finest professional photography and include floor plans, feature sheets and virtual tours. We then promote your property using social media channels, local and national publications, numerous web sites and our large network of agents both in the County and beyond. We take our client relationships very seriously and we are always happy to help if you have questions or concerns.
We have a list of recommended tradespeople and will be happy to share their contact information with you. These are people we ourselves have used so we can refer them confidently. If you are thinking of renovating or adding on to your house, we will be happy to provide you with a quick evaluation so that you can budget accordingly. Similarly we can provide you with an opinion of value if you are doing estate planning or refinancing.
If you are thinking of selling, we can advise you on improvements or changes you may be able to do to enhance your house for sale. In our experience, a few cost-effective adjustments can often affect your property’s value dramatically.

Real estate is a people business and one of the aspects I most enjoy is meeting and working with clients to help them either sell their property, or find the perfect place to call home. Prior to joining Chestnut Park, I was Executive Vice President of The Marketing Directors, Inc. an internationally recognized Real Estate Marketing and Sales firm based in New York City. I learned the ins and outs of the art and science of selling and marketing real estate through hands on experience, managing multi-million dollar projects on behalf of real estate developers. Since joining Chestnut Park, I have been the recipient of the Chairman’s award and the President’s award on numerous occasions.
For the past ten years, my home and heart have been in The County. Outside of real estate, you’ll find me walking down quiet County roads, paddling in the beautiful bays of Prince Edward County, cooking with friends, knitting and listening to music.

Laurie Gruer
Licensed in 1981, I worked with two different real estate firms in the Toronto area until joining Chestnut Park in 1993, Toronto's pre-eminent boutique brokerage. This is now my 42nd year in the industry, during which time I have been a consistent winner of both the President's Award and the Chairman's Award for sales achievement. It's a business I still love for its variety, its challenges and for the many opportunities to meet new people. After all these years, I'm lucky that most new clients come to me by referral from past satisfied clients.
In 2001, I bought a weekend property in Prince Edward County and loved the County so much, I moved here full time in 2008. I have fully enjoyed becoming involved in the local real estate market. When I am not in our Picton office, I am often in my art studio painting, or travelling to the far corners of the world and always with a book in hand.

Alysa Hawkins
I have been passionate about real estate for as long as I can remember, and I love working with people. I have a keen sense of design and have the ability to reimagine and see the potential in raw spaces. Both my former home in Toronto, and my current home in Prince Edward County were recreated from unused buildings and transformed into homes for my family. My past sales experience in the automation industry has equipped me with the skills to navigate the ever changing landscape of the real estate market.
Originally from Toronto, I have lived full time in Prince Edward County for over 10 years and run a short term accommodation on our property. I have raised my three children here, along with chickens on our small homestead in the hamlet of Milford. In my spare time, I paint portraits, write, and spend as much time as I can in the outdoors.

Our team has been practicing in Prince Edward County for over 20 years. In addition to being members of the Quinte board, we are also members of the Toronto Real Estate board. These memberships give us full access to all of the listings in both areas and allow us to keep up-to-date on both markets to better serve our clients in Prince Edward County.
A large segment of the business we do in The County is driven by this connection. Laurie worked in Toronto real estate for thirty years and was well-connected to agents and brokers all over the city.
